Dear readers,
I had the pleasure to introduce the beautiful Hayakawa valley to some guests from Switzerland on Oct-27th. It was a nice sunny day and they enjoyed the landscape from the ocean to the mountains. We had a chance to visit the team of the Hihashi-Yama rice farm during their rice harvesting job up in the valley. It was a very nice experience for the guests as they do not have a chance to see this type of farmer job back home in Switzerland. For lunch we enjoyed local grilled fish which was served along with the tasty local rice. Overall it was a very nice experience for them in the countryside of Japan, away from the busy tourist spots – they have enjoyed a lot and they wish to come here again!
We are looking forward to guide more tourists to the beautiful Hayakawa Valley and to meet more people who live there!
